ECR delegation visits Bulgaria

A delegation from the European Conservatives and Reformists Group is visiting Sofia today and tomorrow (30.09-01.10) by invitation of the two Bulgarian MEPs of the ECR group in the European Parliament Nikolay Barekov and Angel Dzhambazki. The purpose of the meeting, led by the Vice-Chairman of the group and former rapporteur for the accession of Bulgaria to the EU, Mr Geoffrey van Orden, is to become better acquainted with the Bulgarian political and economic situation.

A delegation from the European Conservatives and Reformists Group is visiting Sofia today and tomorrow (30.09-01.10) by invitation of the two Bulgarian MEPs of the ECR group in the European Parliament Nikolay Barekov and Angel Dzhambazki.

The purpose of the meeting, led by the Vice-Chairman of the group and former rapporteur for the accession of Bulgaria to the EU, Mr Geoffrey van Orden, is to become better acquainted with the Bulgarian political and economic situation.

A conference starting at 16h on 30 September in the Hotel Marinela is foreseen where the Members visiting will be acquainted with the programs for ruling the city of Sofia from both candidates for mayor from the two respective parties being represented within the ECR (BWC and VMRO) – namely Mr Angel Dzhambazki MEP and Ms Maria Kalenderska, supported by BWC.
