Conference & Exhibition: Suffering Christians in Sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere

On Monday, ECR MEP Bert-Jan Ruissen together with EPP MEP Michaela Sojdrova will host a conference focusing on Christian persecution in Africa, followed by a photo exhibition highlighting real-life personal stories. Christian persecution is a growing problem worldwide. Africa in particular is a deadly continent for Christians, due to radical groups like Boko Haram, the Islamic State and others. Violence on the basis of religion and belief costs thousands of lives every year. The conference, which will begin at 16:00, will also hear from the NGOs Open Doors and SDOK. The photo exhibition will open at 18:00 at SPINELLI 3G, near the Voxbox area.
