On Tuesday, ECR MEP Assita Kanko together with EPP MEP François-Xavier Bellamy, will host a book presentation of the book “Allah has no business in my classroom” by Jean-Pierre Martin and Laurence D’Hondt.
The book addresses the issue of radical Islam in schools. The initial presentation in Brussels had to be cancelled due to threats against bookstore staff. The authors will be present at the presentation, which is an opportunity to engage in critical conversation, uphold freedom of expression and reject intimidation that seeks to silence vital dialogue. Interpretation will be provided in English, Dutch and French.
