Transatlantic Parliamentary Forum for a Free Cuba

On Tuesday, the third session of the Transatlantic Parliamentary Forum for a Free Cuba will be held in Europe for the first time. The event will be co-hosted by ECR MEPs Carlo Findanza and Marius Kamiński.

As the humanitarian and human rights crisis imposed by the Cuban regime on the Island worsens, the dictators strengthen their alliance with Europe’s enemies, posing a growing threat not only to stability in the Americas but also contributing to the aggression in Ukraine.

The gathered parliamentarians will send an unequivocal message of solidarity with the Cuban people and a call to European authorities to take decisive actions to end the Union’s support for a dictatorship that endangers the security and shared values.

Cuba Decide’s Transatlantic Forum is an initiative bringing together European, U.S., Canadian, and Latin American lawmakers and civil society advocates to promote democracy and human rights in Cuba. The forum supports legislative efforts to denounce the Cuban regime, advocate for the release of political prisoners, and advance international action on human rights issues. It emphasises solidarity with the Cuban people and calls for sanctions and diplomatic pressure against Cuba’s government.
