On the 7th of December the National Council of PJN (Poland Comes First), among them ECR Group MEPs Pawel Kowal and Marek Migalski, decided to dissolve the party and participate in the creation of a new party – “Polska Razem Jarosława Gowina” (translation: Poland Together of Jaroslaw Gowin).

We want Poland to break free from the European snooze. Nobody is going to do it for us, it is our role, and if we want to be successful, we need to do it together.
We won’t leave the European Union in the hands of diplomats. We have to be a part of the EU and as a new environment we will prepare the best program for Europe coming from Poland and therefore we will prepare the best program for Poland in Europe.” – said Pawel Kowal last Saturday in Warsaw at the founding convention of the new party.

Mr Kowal emphasized that the new proposal for Europe will aim at strengthening the situation of Poland as well as reviving the value of common sense in Europe. During his speech he also gave examples of misuse of EU founds for the fight against unemployment among the young. In Mr Kowal’s opinion, EU countries should invest in entrepreneurship and creation of new jobs, instead of spending millions of euros on professional and linguistic internships.
