ECR Group in London

On Monday the ECR will be in London to hold meetings with a number of senior government members. On the agenda will be Brexit and future EU-UK relations.

Data protection inter-parliamentary meeting

This week MEPs in the Civil Liberties Committee will debate data protection with parliamentarians from EU Member States. With the new data protection regulation due to enter into force on 25th May, they will discuss the new rules with law enforcement authorities, intergovernmental organisations, enterprises and IT specialists.

Western Balkans summit

The EU-Western Balkans Summit will take place in Sofia on Wednesday and Thursday. To coincide with the event the ECR Group MEPs will publish a paper that looks into the merits of EU enlargement in the area and what steps we feel need to be taken before this becomes a reality.
