A large number of multinational companies will give evidence to the parliament’s tax rulings special committee before a vote in Strasbourg next week on the committee’s recommendations. Bernd Lucke MEP will ask questions on behalf of the ECR.

The ECR has consistently taken the view that more transparency is needed to ensure fair competition across Europe.

Steinmeier

German Foreign Minister Steinmeier is due before the foreign affairs committee, originally to discuss the migration crisis, but the Paris attacks and their ramifications are likely to feature strongly. ECR Foreign Affairs spokesman Charles Tannock will lead for the group.
