Coming up this week is the constitutive meeting of the ECR Group and the European Council Summit on Thursday and Friday.

ECR Group constitutive meeting

On Wednesday the ECR will hold its constitutive meeting where members are set to decide on the Group’s new Co-Chairs, Bureau and who will be our candidate for President of the European Parliament. ECR Group members will also take decisions on pending applications for Group membership.

European Council

At this week’s summit, taking place on Thursday and Friday, European leaders hope to make further headway on appointments for the EU’s top jobs. ECR Group MEP and Spitzenkandidat Jan Zahradil will be attending the summit and available for interview and comment.
