2030 Impact assessment under the European Climate Law

On Monday, the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety will hold an exchange of views on “Stepping up Europe’s 2030 climate ambition”. The ECR Group is of the opinion that we do not only have a responsibility to reduce emissions, but also towards jobs, innovative investments, and sources of financing to avoid a collapse of the European economy, which is already in crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

European Crowdfunding Service Providers (ECSP) for Business

Europe - the old continent growing older

On Thursday, ECR Rapporteur Beata Szydlo will present her INI Report “old continent growing older - possibilities and challenges related to ageing policy post 2020”. The ageing population is one of the most significant challenges the European Union is facing today. Rural regions are often the worst hit by demographic changes. The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to include a special strategy for
older people into EU policies. The report aims to strengthen the role of older people, to provide them with appropriate care, to prevent loneliness in old age
and to enable societies to benefit from the vast knowledge and experience of the elderly.

When: Thursday @ 1.55pm
