Europe - the old continent growing older
On Thursday, ECR Rapporteur Beata Szydlo will present her INI Report “old continent growing older - possibilities and challenges related to ageing policy post 2020”. The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need to include a special strategy for
older people into EU policies. The report aims to strengthen the role of older people, to provide them with appropriate care, to prevent loneliness in old age
and to enable societies to benefit from the vast knowledge and experience of the elderly.
