Delegation to India

From Monday to Wednesday MEPs of the Committee on International Trade will visit India to prepare their work on a report about deepening EU-India future trade and investment cooperation. India is a strategic partner of the EU. ECR MEP Jan Zahradil has reiterated the need for deeper cooperation based on shared values, respect for human rights and commitment to sustainable development, combating climate change and promoting peace and stability in the world.

When: Monday to Wednesday

Delegation to Georgia

A delegation from the Subcommittee on Security and Defence will travel to Georgia to examine the impact of the war in Ukraine on the country. MEP Lars Patrick Berg will take part on behalf of the ECR. Visits to the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia are also planned.
