Food production in Europe has recently come under pressure. Important aspects are the stagnating exports from Ukraine and high inflation. The European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development is discussing these issues with the European Commission.

Remembering Israeli terror victim Esther Horgen

Mother of six Esther Horgen suffered a fatal blow to the head with a rock two years ago. The woman was arbitrarily victimised by a Palestinian terrorist. Sources say the killer received a 1 million euro reward from the Palestinian Authority. On Wednesday, ECR MEP Bert-Jan Ruissen will host a conference in remembrance of the victim, also discussing the causes of the event. Key participants include the widower of Esther Horgen and two of her children. The Israeli Ambassador to the EU, Mr Haim Regev, will also speak at the event.
