Security and Justice in the AI ERA – challenges and opportunities for image and video forensics

On Tuesday 8 April at 15:30, ECR MEPs Francesco Torselli and Elena Donazzan will host a roundtable discussion to explore the challenges and opportunities emerging from the use of AI technologies in the field of digital evidence.

The event is organised in collaboration with Amped Software, an Italian company and global leader in forensic image and video analysis.

The discussion will highlight the pressing need for greater awareness and specialised training for law enforcement professionals working with digital forensic tools.

It will focus on supporting both seasoned investigators and those with limited technical expertise in navigating the evolving landscape of digital forensics—ensuring that justice and security are upheld in an AI-driven era.
