On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, ECR MEPs Chiara Gemma and Lara Magoni will host the second edition of the event 'Beyond the Obstacle'.

This initiative aims to highlight the themes of inclusion, accessibility, and the talents of persons with disabilities, bringing to the forefront the exceptional creativity, determination, and expertise that many express because of the challenges they face.

Through this event, the personal testimonies of athletes and courageous women who embody resilience and excellence, both personally and professionally will be shared.

Their stories are a reminder of how essential legislative work remains in strengthening the rights, autonomy, and full participation of persons with disabilities across Europe.
