On Wednesday, ECR MEP Anna Zalewska will host a discussion on the future of the EU Emissions Trading System, its impact on European industry and how reform can balance climate ambitions with economic competitiveness.

As the European Union faces growing economic and industrial challenges, this discussion will provide an opportunity to exchange views on the future of European competitiveness and the impact of the ETS on the Unions economy. Timely discussions will focus on the challenges and opportunities created by the ETS for European businesses and industry. The event will offer a platform for an open exchange on how climate policy can contribute to, rather than undermine, Europe’s long-term economic strength and strategic autonomy.
