Friday 6 December, Vilnius Lithuania
On Friday 6 December, ECR MEP Aurelijus Veryga will host an international conference on demographic issues titled "Demographic Trilemma: Which Path Will Lithuania Choose?" in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The conference will focus on Lithuania’s demographic challenges, including the decline in large families, delayed childbirth, increased pressure on the social security system, the impact of immigration on the economy, and the challenges to national security.
“The ECR Group has long advocated for addressing demographic issues. I am proud to work alongside colleagues who share this commitment and are determined to find solutions. The demographic crisis not only threatens Lithuania’s economy, competitiveness, and social security systems, but it also affects our national identity and security.
