Event: Russian Neo-Imperialism – The phenomenon of Russian aggressive ideology

On Tuesday 4 March, ECR MEPs Adam Bielan and Michał Dworczyk will host a discussion on Russian neo-imperialism and the aggressive ideology of "Ruscism."

Organised in collaboration with the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, the event will focus on strategies to counter Russia’s aggressive ideology.

As Russia’s threats to European stability and security persist, this debate will bring together leading experts, policymakers, and MEPs to analyse the ideological foundations of Russian aggression and explore effective countermeasures.

The event will also feature the presentation of the book “Multidimensional Ruscism”, with insights from experts such as Volodymyr Ohryzko, former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Alim Aliev, deputy director of the Ukrainian Institute and H.E. Mr Vsevolod Chentsov, Head of the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union.

A high-level panel of MEPs will also provide their perspectives, followed by an open Q&A session.
