On Tuesday, 18 November, ECR MEP and Chair of the ECR Working Group on Female Conservative Leaders Assita Kanko will host a lunch roundtable, "Women empowerment in the workplace".

This lunch roundtable, held in collaboration with the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, will bring together MEPs, parliamentary staff, and leaders from business and civil society to exchange ideas on women’s empowerment in the workplace and network.

The event will focus on how leadership can drive meaningful progress in Europe and beyond, identifying practical tools and policy frameworks that promote equal opportunities, transparency, and measurable outcomes, while respecting national competences and cultural diversity across Member States.
