On Monday evening, ECR MEP Stefano Cavedagna will inaugurate the exhibition Foibe, Tragedy and Exodus, dedicated to the victims of the Foibe massacres and the exiles from Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia.

Despite the approval of Law 92/2004, which established February 10 as the Giorno del Ricordo (Day of Remembrance) in Italy, awareness of this tragedy remains limited. This exhibition will shed light on one of the most painful and often overlooked chapters of European history.

Supported by the ECR Group and its Fratelli d’Italia delegation, in collaboration with the Comitato 10 Febbraio and the Associazione Nazionale Venezia Giulia e Dalmazia, this initiative brings the memory of the victims to international attention.

The inauguration will take place on Monday, 10 February, at 18:00 and the exhibition will remain open until 13 February at the Emilio Colombo Gallery, European Parliament, Strasbourg (WEISS 1st floor).

This exhibition is a significant commemoration, helping to preserve the memory of the victims and exiles of the Foibe massacres.
