Hosted by Member of the European Parliament Aurelijus Veryga, the Roundtable on Vascular Health and the Safe Hearts Plan will bring together policymakers, healthcare professionals, experts and key stakeholders to discuss the growing importance of cardiovascular and vascular health in the European Union.

The event will provide a platform to exchange views on the challenges associated with cardiovascular diseases, explore opportunities to strengthen prevention, early detection and timely intervention, and discuss how the European Commission’s Safe Hearts Plan can contribute to improving cardiovascular health outcomes across Europe.

By facilitating dialogue between the European Parliament and relevant stakeholders, MEP Aurelijus Veryga aims to encourage stronger political commitment, promote collaboration and support effective, evidence-based policy approaches to reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases.

The roundtable will contribute to raising awareness of vascular health as a key public health priority and advancing discussions on the implementation of meaningful actions to protect and improve the cardiovascular health of European citizens.
