On Thursday, ECR MEP Kristoffer Storm will welcome Professor Ruth Halperin-Kaddari to the European Parliament.

Professor Halperin-Kaddari will give a lecture on the disturbing sexual and gender-based violence that occurred during the Hamas October 7 attack on Israel.

Professor Halperin-Kaddari is a renowned Israeli legal scholar specialising in international women’s rights. She is also the author of The Dinah Project, which has been instrumental in advocating for the recognition of and justice for victims of sexual violence in conflict. This discussion will shed light on the horrific abuses women suffered during the attack and provide an opportunity to explore how the EU should respond to such atrocities in the future.
