On Thursday, 16 October 2025, ECR MEP Georgiana Teodorescu will host a debate on the importance of respecting minority rights in the context of the delicate situation in the Middle East

Members of the ECR Group of the European Parliament from Romania, Cyprus, Poland and Sweden, religious and minority representatives of different beliefs, experts and journalists will discuss good practices and risks when it comes to protecting the rights of religious minorities.

Speakers will highlight various examples in the Middle East and Europe and will draw perspectives of living in multireligious environments around the globe.
