In partnership with The Parliament and Chiesi, MEP Aurelijus Veryga will host a roundtable titled “Prioritising Respiratory Health in the Next Multiannual Financial Framework” on 19 November at the European Parliament in Brussels

The event will focus on keeping respiratory health, particularly the prevention and management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), high on the EU policy and funding agenda. Building on the Joint Action on Respiratory Diseases (JARED), the discussion will explore how stronger EU commitment and dedicated resources can address underdiagnosis and reduce the growing burden of chronic respiratory diseases across Europe.
