On Wednesday, ECR MEP Aurelijus Veryga will host an #EURespiDay event.

The event will bring together policymakers, public health experts and stakeholders to discuss strengthening the prevention of respiratory infections in Europe, with a particular focus on immunisation.

The discussion will examine how to translate recent EU policy commitments into concrete action, reduce the burden of respiratory diseases on healthcare systems and strengthen Europe’s preparedness for future health threats. The event will also address the importance of sustained investment in prevention and the role of the forthcoming Lithuanian Presidency in advancing the European health agenda.
