On Friday in Bari, Italy, ECR MEP and Vice-President of the European Parliament’s Committee on Regional Development (REGI), Francesco Ventola, will host an event bringing together key policymakers to discuss the future of cohesion and regional development policy and the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2028–2034.
The MFF sets the EU’s long-term budget priorities and will play a critical role in shaping the direction of regional development and investment across Member States in the years ahead.
The event will feature the participation of European Parliament Vice-President Antonella Sberna and ECR REGI Coordinator Denis Nesci, as well as Italy’s Minister for European Affairs, Tommaso Foti, and European Commission Executive Vice-President Raffaele Fitto.
