The Twitter Convoy exhibition

On Wednesday, ECR MEP and Security and Defence Committee coordinator Reinis Pozņaks will open an exhibition showcasing the work of the unique initiative known as the Twitter Convoy.

Launched by MEP Pozņaks shortly after the war began with a single post on “X” (formerly Twitter), the initiative grew from its origins in Latvia into a Europe-wide movement supporting Ukraine.

Since its launch, the Twitter Convoy has delivered over 3,100 vehicles — from ambulances to off-road cars — to Ukraine’s defenders on the front lines. All vehicles were donated and personally delivered by volunteers. This exhibition tells the powerful story of how a single tweet sparked a grassroots movement that continues to provide life-saving support to Ukraine.

Visitors will be guided through five key chapters of the convoy’s evolution by Reinis Pozņaks, who launched the initiative.

Through original stories, media coverage, and a video of the vehicle returned from the front line, the exhibition highlights the lasting impact of grassroots action.
