On Tuesday, ECR MEP Diego Solier will host a workshop on tokenisation, organised within the framework of the Digital Economy Society.

The event will bring together policymakers, representatives of European institutions, and industry experts to explore how tokenisation can support the development of a stronger and more integrated Digital Single Market.

The discussion will focus in particular on the role of tokenisation in finance, market infrastructure, and innovative use cases that are shaping Europe’s digital economy. Participants will examine both the regulatory and practical dimensions of tokenisation, highlighting opportunities for competitiveness, efficiency, and cross-border integration within the EU. The programme will feature a keynote address by the European Commission (DG ENVI), followed by presentations showcasing concrete business and policy applications of tokenisation. A dedicated Q&A session with Members of the European Parliament will provide an opportunity for open dialogue, concluding with a networking reception for participants and speakers. The workshop aims to foster constructive exchange between legislators, regulators and market actors, contributing to informed policymaking and the advancement of Europe’s Digital Single Market.
