The ECR Group – Polish Delegation is organising the conference “Europe of States and Nations – The Future of the European Union” alongside Krynica Forum 2026, bringing together Members of the European Parliament and political leaders from across Europe for discussions on the future of the European Union and the role of sovereign nation states.

The conference will provide a platform for debate on the future of European integration, the protection of national interests and the reforms needed to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness, economic security and democratic legitimacy. Discussions will address key challenges facing the EU, including trade policy, climate policy, agriculture, European competitiveness and the balance between common European objectives and national sovereignty.

The programme will feature policy panels, a roundtable discussion with MEPs and political debates with representatives of conservative parties from across Europe, offering an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the future direction of the European Union.

The conference will take place at Hotel Prezydent on 27–28 October and at the Main Mineral Water Pump Room on 29 October.
